Lodge Park Walled Garden

These lush gardens are located adjacent to the Steam Museum and belong to Lodge Park, the 1773 Palladian House also situated on the grounds.
Both walls and gardens were restored in 1980 according to their original plans, and returned to the times when they supplied all of the fruit, vegetable and floral needs of the residents of the house.
Lodge Park Walled Garden is divided into various sections, and includes, among other popular plants, yew trees, boxed edge paths, herbaceous borders, a rose garden and vegetable areas.
