Newbridge House

Set on 350 acres of park land, Newbridge House is a beautiful 18th century manor which is situated twelve miles north of the city centre. Adjoining the house is a cobbled courtyard and around it are stone outhouses which have been restored and opened as a museum of late 18th century rural life in Ireland. The 27 acre farm is closed until further notice
The house was built in 1737 and stayed with the Cobbe family until Fingal County Council acquired it in 1985. The family have also generously loaned the original furniture and paintings to the Council, so the house has kept its original Georgian look.
